To receive early fruits or fruits for processing it is better to sow carrot at the earliest possible opportunity (the end of the March - the beginning of the April). The distance between row should be 30-45 cm.

Sowing into the ridges is ideal for regions with sufficient moistening on heavy and middle-heavy soil or with using irrigation system.

The best forecrop for carrot is crops that need organic fertilization. Carrot should be sown directly in an open ground (at steady place). Carrot can be sown on the ridges or not. In the regions with enough humidity or drop irrigation it is better to sow carrot on the ridges. Also this method is suitable for heavy soil. This method helps to receive even fruits with high marketability qualities and harvesting becomes easier. Distance between rows should be 30-45 cm. By using drop irrigation should be the next strip-line sowing scheme 15+15+15+15 х 4 cm or 50+10 +27+10+27+10+27 х 4 cm.
