Early-ripening with high yielding and marketability


Nasko №725  - Early-ripening salad variety. This variety complies well for fresh market requirements. It forms large half-raised leaf rosette with little curly leaves. Variety of early-ripening lettuce Nasko №725 is valuable for its bolting resistance, long storage quality and high marketability. It is possible to grow through seedling or sowing. Row spacing should be 30-45 cm, and distance between plants is 3-5 cm, the depth is 0,5-1 cm. When sprouting has 4-5 leaves salad should be thinning and distance between plants should be about 15-20 cm. Salad is cold-tolerant (plant can survive temperatures about -3...-5 0C) sun and water-loving plant. It grows better at neutral soil rich in organic substances. Lettuce Nasko №725 can be grown outdoors or under covers. Outdoors it is usually transplanted in the end of April or in the beginning of May. Plant maintenance includes thinning of plants, breaking up of soil, weeding and irrigation. The earliest harvest can be received by sowing under-winter ( in the way they sprout in the autumn) and use plastic cover in the spring.
